CGE Erfurt e.V. has more than 13 years of experience creating educational concepts, that allow participants to develop a self-defined strategy of learning in the framework of non-formal education. What does make us special? In our office there are people from all over the world: Belarus, Bosnia, Indonesia, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and, Germany – and all that in a state with only 2% foreigners. This diversity gives us a unique view on the world and local community and helps us to create projects from outside of the 'box'. On the local level we offer such activities as a monthly Language cafe, Movie nights and Game nights, while on an international level we focus on providing opportunities for young people such as outgoing & incoming volunteering programs, youth exchanges, trainings. On a structural level we are involved in the development of new methods and approaches to non formal learning, and capacity building for educators and activists.
