Destructive Creation
Destructive Creation is a Bulgaria – based collective of anonymous artists working in the field of public art, political activism and art
intervention. Their projects interact with existing artworks, monuments, spaces, audiences, social and political situations. Destructive
Creation's most popular work is their second project called ‘In step with the times’ - an intervention transforming the figures of the Soviet Army Monument in Sofia into pop-culture icons. The work attracted public attention and it was a subject of controversy for a long period of time. Destructive Creation expose their works mostly on publicly visible surfaces such as signs, streets, parks, squares, etc. The group became part of “The Bulgarian Nouvelle Vague” (published 2012)
